the kaldor public art projects
‘move’ lectures were presented at
nine regional venues from July to
october 2010. the lectures included
screenings of video works from
‘move: the exhibition’, previously
displayed at the gallery of modern
art (24 april – 8 august 2010), as well
as talks on contemporary video and
moving image artists by the gallery’s
australian cinémathèque staff.
the xstrata coal talking queensland
art Lecture tour series continued our
partnership with xstrata coal through
the xstrata coal queensland artists’
gallery program, and our shared
commitment to make the work of
queensland artists more accessible
to regional audiences. curatorial
staff presented a series of lectures at
eight regional queensland venues in
october and november 2010, based
on the exhibition ‘Vida Lahey: colour
and modernism’ (16 october 2010 –
13 february 2011) .
