About the Foundation
Bequests to the Gallery are managed through the QAGOMA Foundation,
the Gallery’s vital fundraising body. When a sum of money is bequeathed
to the Gallery through the Foundation, half the amount specified
is honoured as an immediate gift entitling appropriate Foundation
membership. By making a bequest of $8000 or more, benefactors
are entitled to join the Foundation and participate in its exclusive
program of events.
Foundation members enjoy:
• invitations to exclusive exhibition viewings and special events
• up-to-date information on the Gallery’s exhibitions and programs
through a range of regular Gallery publications
• access to the Members Lounge in the Queensland Art Gallery.
All Foundation members are formally acknowledged in the Foundation
Annual Report and members at the level of Fellow and above are publicly
recognised on the Donor Boards in the Gallery foyers.
