What to do:
1.
Find a fence with gaps wide
enough for you to easily weave
material through.
2.
Cut the material into strips.
3.
Roll a piece of material into
a ball small enough to fit
through the gaps.
4.
Knot the end of your material
ball to the top left point of
the fence.
5.
Weave the material under the
first post or wire to the right,
then over the next, and then
under the following. Keep going
under/over/under until your
weaving is as wide as you want it
to be. Then start weaving in the
opposite direction below
the first row of material.
6.
When your material ball runs
out, tie the end of another one
to it.
7.
Repeat this pattern over and
over again.
8.
When you have finished, snap
a photo of your fence weaving
to send to a friend before taking
it down.
Fence weaving
The more closely you look
at the things around you,
the better you will become
at seeing, making and using
camouflage! Create a fence
weaving and
try to make it
blend into the background
by carefully observing the
surrounding colours and
textures
.
