21st century kids encourages children
to explore and discover the fresh and
imaginative ways that artists consider
their world today.
focusing on new technologies and
interactive design, the artist projects
are created by leading australian
and international artists tony albert,
pierre bismuth, Justine cooper, fiona
hall, romuald hazoumè, bharti
kher, Jorge méndez blake, rivane
neuenschwander, John pule, Jana
sterbak, rirkrit tiravanija and
olafur eliasson.
special art work labels integrated
throughout the exhibition help young
visitors engage with other works
on display. in addition to this, the
gallery launched its first children’s
publication comprising a collection
of exhibiting artists’ stories, art work
images and specially developed
activities for children.
