Children

January 2003

Discover just how much fun contemporary art can be with your kids at Kids’ APT.

Kid's APT

Kids' APT is an innovative program of art works and activities that aims to create meaningful experiences with contemporary art for children. Interactive art works created especially for young viewers by APT 2002 artists are the major feature of Kids’ APT. The art works will be on display for the duration of the exhibition, ensuring there is always something to see and do for families.

Free, full colour activity books are also available as part of Kids’ APT. These fun and stimulating books assist children to interpret and engage with the artworks on display. Pick up a copy at the Information Desk.

Coming up during the summer school holidays, there will be a special APT "Summer Spectacular" Children’s Festival from 11–25 January 2003. The festival will be an exciting exploration of art, dance and music from the Asia-Pacific region. The festival will provide free events, performances and workshops suitable for children 3–12 years of age. Look for more details in the next issue of Preview.
