Problem - Wisdom was first exhibited in Australia during the Second Asia-Pacific
Triennial of Contemporary Art, at the Queensland Art Gallery, Brisbane, in 1996. This web
page is produced in association with the installation 'Problem - Wisdom', curated
by Dionissia Giakoumi and Suhanya Raffel, Queensland Art Gallery, 26 September - 29
November 1998.
The English translation and interpretation of Problem - Wisdom is based on
research undertaken by Dionissia Giakoumi in collaboration with Kamin Lertchaiprasert and
Robyn Ziebell. Thai Language Services provided assistance with the translation of specific
inscriptions, and the typesetting of the Thai language inscriptions.
