Hours and Tours
Gallery opening hours

Monday to Friday: 10.00 am – 5.00 pm.
Saturday & Sunday : 9.00 am – 5.00 pm.

Public Holidays: Closed Christmas Day and Good Friday. Open Anzac Day 12 noon - 5.00pm.

Admission free except to special exhibitions.

Free guided tours

Free guided tours of the Queensland Art Gallery Collection and visiting exhibitions are conducted daily.
Monday ¯ Friday: 11.00am, 1.00pm and 2.00pm
Saturday: 11.00am, 2.00pm and 3.00pm
Sunday: 11.00am, 1.00pm and 3.00pm
Meet your Guide at the information desk in the Gallery¹s Foyer.
Groups of 10 or more can book guided tours by telephoning (07) 3840 7255. A minimum of 15 days notice is required to secure the services of a Guide.

Auslan interpreted tours of the Gallery

Gallery Guides will be conducting Auslan assisted tours of the Collection at 3.00pm on the last Sunday of the Month for hearing impaired visitors. Please meet your Guide and interpreter at the Information desk in the Gallery foyer.
