Pamela Mei-Leng See

Starter Space presents work by young Queensland artists in the Queensland Art Gallery's Watermall Cafe. The latest Starter Space exhibition features the work of regional Queensland artist Pamela Mei-Leng See. Her installation A change in frequency explores the issue of migrant settlement using 1000 traditional Chinese paper-cut moths. It reflects the artist’s experience of living in Mackay as part of a Chinese minority and is inspired by the late autumn mass migration of moths in central Queensland.
