The Gallery now operates its own cafes, bar and restaurant. The GOMA Restaurant offers relaxed, elegant dining with an innovative and contemporary menu based on fresh seasonal produce and a great selection of wines.

GOMA Restaurant is also open during Matisse Up Late every Friday from 5.30—10.00pm, 20 January until 2 March 2012. Last orders at 8.30pm.

Venus Rising: Out of the Water and into the Light was selected through a Queensland-wide public poll as the final sculpture for Kangaroo Point Park. In this talk hear from the designer, UK-based artist Wolfgang Buttress, as he discusses the international public art commissions, and the inspiration for Venus Rising.
