Annual Review 2018
With eight interactive artworks and activities created by exhibiting artists, APT9 Kids is a rich participatory experience, curated for children and families to reflect the themes of the exhibition. Nona Garcia’s Illuminate 2018 at QAG invites visitors to rearrange X-ray images into patterns and designs, while at GOMA, Mauri 2018 is an immersive digital underwater environment that is part of the exhibition’s Kiribati Project. An interactive developed with Australian artist Gary Carsley explores the history of the jacaranda tree, as featured in the iconic Collection work Under the jacaranda 1903 by R Godfrey Rivers. APT9 Kids is supported by the Tim Fairfax Family Foundation. Photographs: Natasha Harth, Brad Wagner APT9 KIDS
