QAGOMA Members enjoyed twice the savings during the Store’s Double Discount Weekend / Photograph: Brad Wagner For the second year, QAGOMA’s Design Tracks program, in collaboration with Brisbane-based Indigenous design firm Gilimbaa, brought together 21 creative Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students from across Queensland and northern New South Wales. During the three-day residential camp, students developed their own pitch for a proposed public artwork, mentored by Tony Albert and other Indigenous artists working in the creative industries, as part of the intensive workshop program.
