Annual Review 2017

MARCH & APR I L RIGHT | Australian artist Kate Beynon collaborated with the Children’s Art Centre on the interactive exhibition ‘ Friendly Beasts ’ (1 April – 22 October 2017), which brought to life hybrid characters inspired by mythological figures, deities, theatrical masks and supernatural creatures. These benevolent friends — Blue Shaman, Lotus Monkey, Tu-Dao Dog and Gorgon Girl — promoted creative expression through mask-making, drawing and dancing.
